Ingredients

  • 6 Roma tomatoes halved with cores removed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dried Italian herbs to taste
  • Balsamic vinegar for drizzling optional

Instructions

  • Place oven rack a few inches from the top and turn oven to the
  • broil setting.
  • Place tomatoes on a baking sheet with the cut side up.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried herbs.
  • Broil for 5 – 10 minutes or until tomatoes start to brown. Remove
  • from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
