Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb. chicken breasts (2 large breasts)
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Place chicken breasts on the prepared sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Season with sea salt and pepper. Use a rubber brush or your clean fingers to rub sea salt/pepper and oil into the chicken breasts. Thoroughly wash hands after handling chicken.
  • Place in preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes undisturbed.
  • Move to cutting board and cut into desired-sized pieces. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Letting the chicken rest before slicing or chopping is crucial to keep the chicken from drying out.
  • Double or even triple the recipe for multiple uses!
  • Add ½ tsp. of garlic powder or paprika for bonus flavor!
