5-Minute Tomato Sauce with Whole Grain Pasta

olive oil

garlic

canned diced tomatoes

lemon
(zested)

whole grain pasta
Instructions
Combine the olive oil, red pepper flakes and garlic in a cold saucepan.
Stir while you heat the saucepan over medium-high heat, sauté just 45 seconds.
Stir in the tomatoes and heat to a gentle simmer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the lemon zest reserving a bit to sprinkle on top of your pasta.
Dash of salt and pepper to taste.
Cook whole grain pasta as directed and serve with sauce.
